Ordered a new detergent dispenser that arrived within two days. Removed screws on the inside of door that removes the front door panel. The detergent dispenser is held on by a bracket with six screws. There is one plugin that needs to be disconnected. Everything is reinstalled as before. It work as before. Read more

Removed back of dishwasher with hex screw driver 5 min Unplugged power cord 30 secs Loosened metal bracket on top and bottom with screwdriver 5 min Pushed dispenser in and removed from dishwasher 5 min Positioned new unit in space and snapped into place 1 min Plugged electrics back in 1 min Screwed back on 3 min Roughly 20 min. Had a small leak and removed the lower front panel (2 screws) *PRO TIP- a screwdriver that takes bits is the exact size with no bit in it. Removed the bit and use just the ratcheting screwdriver open end to remove the washer screws* I also removed the top panel (3 screws) to get a better look. On my back I could see the drip would slowly accumulate near the detergent fill and drop down and accumulate until eventually hitting the floor. New parts did the trick. Very easy to replace. Did not need to replace the base agitator, the fabric dispenser, or the screw; but, while it was apart it was simple to do. Read more

Dishwasher had begun going through the cycles with not enough water in the chamber. Suspect was the water inlet valve. Checked the AppliancePartsPros video for this repair and ordered the valve from them. It arrived in a timely manner -as usual- and I pulled the dishwasher out, removed the kick toe cover, then the structural brace behind it then removed the valve. Replaced cold water valve and lid lock assembly; locks have a tendency to fail on these washers, I think this is my third one. Both jobs are super easy. Disconnect water lines and unplug the washer, remove 5 hex screws that hold on the rear upper panel, 2 screws that hold the lid, and 1 screw that holds a little metal cover.
