Checked and cleaned vent which was in need of cleaning, but not too bad (I do not consider this a primary causal detail, but can be a problem, so clean yours). Replaced Hi-Limit Thermostat (safety thermostat) after confirming the circuit was open with ohm meter. From reading "troubleshooting" sites on the internet, originally thought I'd be replacing the front & rear drum rollers, so I ordered the rollers, and a new belt before I opened up the dryer, taking it out of use. When I opened it up the front rollers were "shot", and the front bulkhead was "totaled". The right door seal and the freezer door seal are easily removed and replaced. They just pull out of the slot. These 2 new gaskets push in easily. The left door has the French Door Mullion, that blocks the removal of the door gasket. There are two screws in the middle that holds it on, and there is a spring at the bottom of the mullion that keeps the mullion in place. The spring can easily be removed, or left in place. Removed 2 screws from mullion strip heater and slid it up off the tabs at top and bottom. Unhooked the plug and removed it. Verified proper mullion heater and then plugged wiring connection back together, positioned slide clips back in line and slid mullion down onto the clips. Tucked the wiring back into opening positioned cover back in place and reiinstalled the 2 screws. Every video I could find for replacing the seal on the WM8000HWA involved a different product than what was required for our specific washer. I have order three parts, guide filter, cover guide, and sensor assembly. My previous cover guide was from two parts, when sensor assembly was one of them. New part ( guide cover ) was all in one piece so I just transfer old metal part of sensor to new cover guide and I don't need that sensor assembly anymore. I first ordered a thermostat and ignitor and replaced and that did not work. I asked Appliance Parts Pros their opinion in the chat and they said it was the coils in the gas valve but you had to replace the entire valve as the coils are not sold individually.
