First went through the troubleshooting guide on the website and read the various stories and watched the repair videos for replacing the springs and suspension pads. Then before ordering any parts disassembled the machine only to the point of removing the cabinet to see if there were any obvious issues. This process was fairly straightforward, it took a couple of hours. I watched a video on youtube and followed the directions. The trickiest part was attaching the diaphragm to the tub. The weights were in the way and made it difficult to seal. I ended up removing the weights and it went on much easier. Read more

Researched error code and symptoms on Internet. Disassembled washer back to get right part #, be careful they are different! I replaced the belt and the pump. It now works like it is new again! I am glad that I purchased the belt installation tool. It made replacing the belt very easy. I also purchased the Control Assembly which I did not install. It wasn't needed to repair the washer but I will keep it in case it is needed for future repairs. Then I had to unstack the dryer from the washer, remove all covers, disconnect all hose connections, shock mounts and springs and remove the tub assembly. The washing machine would allow you to program it, and all the lights on the control panel would light up, but pressing start did nothing. I tried putting the washer in diagnostic mode, but was unable to do so. The machine was not showing any fault code. Ordered the valve body from Appliance Parts Pro. It was very easy to find the part on their website. Ordering was simple. The part actually got here the next day. I received an email about 2 hours after I received the part that contained the tracking number. That is what is known as quick and reliable service. I replaced the gasket. Removing the old one was not easy. I used a razor knife to cut out most of it. And then I used rubbing alcohol to soften the remaining glue and scrapped it out with a small blade screwdriver Read more

I ordered the valve from Appliance Parts--it arrived promptly. I replaced the faulty valve with the new valve and now washer works like new. Read more

• Will not drain

It was a relatively easy fix. Removed the small access panel at the back of the washing machine after unplugging the unit. The pump is right there. Disconnected the two hoses to the pump, catching some water with towels. Removed three retaining screws, then realized I had not disconnected the belt from under the unit. Easy fix, tilted the unit and disconnected the belt. Put in the new pump , connected the hoses, then reconnected the belts. Works like new! Read more

In reality, this turned into a full-on rebuild project - with several parts orders, not just a simple repair.
