This tube drain extension replaces a worn or missing refrigerator drain tube so defrost water flows from the cabinet to the drain pan without leaking. It helps prevent puddles and ice build-up near the freezer or crisper area. What it does:
Swapped it out for new tube. Take 5 minutes and zero effort. The drain tube will clog with mold. You can clean it out but the tube will clog again despite's you best efforts as the tube wall provide a great habitat. Ordered new tubes to facilitate swap-outs. It’s a full size stackable washer and dryer, in order to get at part you need to take the dryer off the washer. I just had a hip replacement 2 days before so I’m useless except for advice. Called my son to come over ( thank god he could) he couldn’t lift it off alone but I told him how to do it by just sliding the top of washer back 10 inches with the dryer on it and didn’t have to take it off !
