I used a putty knife to remove the black plastic cover on the inside of the door to expose the screws to the handle. Then using a Phillips screw driver, I removed the top and bottom screws to remove the handle. The bottom screw was stripped so I had to us a pair of pliers to grip the broken plastic handle to remove the screw. Replaced handle and tightened screws, snapped ring back in place. The purchased crisper cover lacks the printed pictures and text that was present on the front of the original, but it was no big deal. After watching the video carefully and taking notes for step-by-step dismantling of the LG washer, I took it apart methodically placing each item on a table in the order removed. I was able to remove and replace the bearings with no problems following the tips and tricks. One of the suspension rods was not working so I replaced the bad one and the other three . Tub has now leveled out and is spinning properly without making the noise. The drawer is attached to slides with 2 screws. The slides attach to the pedestal side brackets with 2 screws, easy to remove and install new parts, the slides are not labeled correctly - the left is actually the right side and the right is the left side. All the plastic part does is act like a lock to hold the drawer closed. be sure to get the slides positioned correctly on the drawer before attaching the screws. Read more

The drum was hesitating and then not turning at all with an error code. Wife also smelled "something burning", which of course is never a good sign. Ordered a new stator and had my LG washer back up and running 15 minutes after getting the $100 stator via FedEx. This is the third repair on this machine in 8 years, all parts received from APP!!!! I sat an watched a wash cycle. When it came to drain cycle I could hear the pump making a grinding noise! Door bellow seal leaked too. I ordered new pump and housing,new door bellows seal. The clearance of the pump impeller and housing are real important. I have jet Skies and I knew it is an issue. Watched the video on the repair. Gave me all the instructions to take it apart.
