With more difficulty and frustration than expected but it works fine now. Things learned: 1. Order only 3 replacement pins. One comes with the shocks that you can't be sure you see in the picture. 2. A circuit board in a plastic box mounted to the floor, left rear, must be removed by two screws to be able to get pliers onto the head of the pin more easily. This helps installation too. 3. Using a nut driver I removed the sheet metal screws, removed the old belt and replaced it with the one. An easy repair. Shipping was EXCELLENT! Read more

I decided to repair my Amana LWA50AW top loader washer because it has served us well, it is made by Speed Queen and an equal replacement is expensive. These are very dependable washers. The parts I ordered were: part #R9900552 (hub and seal kit) This kit does not include the Tub or Main bearing!!! Nor the drive belt!!! Since I hadn't found the Tech Sheet for the washer (which there should be one inside the top cover) I simply thought I'd buy the drive motor (and a new belt, a.k.a "cheap insurance"). Installed the motor once I'd received it from AppliancePartsPros, the washer worked a couple of cycles then gave me the same "SrV CLL" message. Found the belt was thrown off. Reinstalled the belt and when doing so felt that the pulley was wobbling on the barrel shaft. Took the pulley off and noticed the inside of the pulley was worn badly and needed to be replaced. When received the new pulley and belt easily installed and was working like new. Read more

I replaced the broken drive belt first and noticed the drive pulley loose. The nut that had held it in place had backed off. This resulted in significant wear on the pulley hub. I just tightened it up and installed the belt. I noticed the belt had a tendency to change its position on the pulley depending on the direction of rotation. Tub bearing failure, basically the whole machine has to be taken a part. I've used appliancepartspros in the past so I came back. Quick shipping, parts ordered Thursday night and got here Monday. Take your time or you'll just cost yourself more money. I was lucky in that I did not have to buy the $568 inner tub because I found a bearing and seal kit on Amazon for $80. First i had to remove the belt from the drum pulley. i had to actually remove the motor from the washing machine. carefully remove the two water hoses attached to the pump...have a towel ready...there will be a few cups of water left in the hoses. remove spring from tension pulley then remove the pump that was attached to the motor. you will need a set of hex keys to remove the pump. then you can remove the belt from the drive pulley. reinstalled new belt around drive pulley and reinstalled... Very difficult fix even though I had done it once before about 15 years ago. Problem for me was getting the transmission down far enough to get clearance to install the belt.
