Samsung top load washer, about 3 years old started throwing a DC error code more and more often. Initially started with large loads. Wash would get to spin cycle, start wobbling all over the place, stop and refill then try again. Eventually it would stop and throw the DC code. As time went on, the size of the loads got smaller and smaller. Research here indicated that suspension rods probably need replacing. I replaced all 4 suspension rods and springs and now it spins very smooth. They weren't broken, just badly worn. It gave new life to my 15 year old GE Profile washer. They are basically springs, so they wear after a while. It was well worth the hour I spent fixing it. You need a good long reach to get to the back 2 and you have to take off the dampening straps and the control panel so you can gain access. I noticed my 5-year-old Samsung, front-loading washing machine started to sound like my kids were using it as a drum kit. Replaced pump. All components are accessible from the front of the machine. You have to remove two screws in the back that hold on the top cover, then slide the cover back. This will allow access to the screws that hold on the control panel. Remove the control panel (unplug cable), then remove the spring/wire that holds on the door bellows to the front panel (removing and installing that is the most difficult part of the job) and carefully remove the bellows from the front panel.
