Ordered a new knob and took out little bits of the old one. Took the new knob and pressed it over the stump and presto works like new. Read more

I replaced the washer's transmission. The replacement was a little bit detailed because you need to remove several parts inside the washer and under the bottom of the unit. The replacement took more time removing older parts and cleaning the washing machine before I could replace the transmission itself. All tools required were on hand except the tool used to remove the large bolt inside the washer drum. This tool was found on Amazon and cost around $15.00. Other than that, it was straight... Washer would run through the cycle, but not agitate. I had to wait for it to pump down the water level to check spin, which also was not working. The motor would buzz when it should run, but not rotate, hard to hear for spin because the pump was running. Found I could start it by hand very easily by giving the pulley a spin, so I figured start switch, but there didn't appear to be one. Removed the door at the hinge (3 screws). Removed the screws on the inside of the door holding the three sections together. Found one pin on the hinge broke OFF. Ordered parts. Arrived in 2 days. Re-assembled door and hung. Read more

Ordered a new outer door seal and watched their video before replacing. Easy to follow the video and it took me less than 30 min to complete repair. A small amount of diluted dishwashing liquid on the new seal lip makes the install much easier. Read more

I replaced the suspension rods -- I am NOT particularly experienced with machines of any type, so it took me longer than it might have someone else, but once I figured out what I needed to do, everything went very smoothly. The washer spins like a dream now! Read more

The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. Ordered a replacement part and a new screw. About a dozen YouTube videos later managed to get the old one-off. Best to use a power tool! Once we figured that out we were done replacing the part in less than 5 minutes. Read more

All I had to do was remove 3, 1/4" screws from the back and take the front off. Two 5/16th screws hold the circuit board in place, remove them and press the button into the hole from the back. Replace the circuit board, slide the front back on and install the three 1/4" screws. Always unplug the washer first! Read more
