I replaced the belt and the pump. It now works like it is new again! I am glad that I purchased the belt installation tool. It made replacing the belt very easy. I also purchased the Control Assembly which I did not install. It wasn't needed to repair the washer but I will keep it in case it is needed for future repairs. I removed the dial knob and plate as instructed by the video, removed the front panel of the washer to access the switch. I found the plastic molded bracket that the timer rests on to be broken and the tab on the timer where it is attached by a screw to be broken. I ordered a replacement switch, dial and knob. When it arrived I replaced the parts as instructed, but I had to use super glue to hold the new switch in place due to the support tab on the washer panel being broken off. After letting... Washer started every cycle just fine. With just 9 minutes left on the cycle, when it started the spinning cycle it would stop and on the display showed a DC error code and it would kick the cycle to the beginning of the wash. • Shakes and moves

One of the suspension rods was not working so I replaced the bad one and the other three . Tub has now leveled out and is spinning properly without making the noise. • Spins slowly

With more difficulty and frustration than expected but it works fine now. Things learned: 1. Order only 3 replacement pins. One comes with the shocks that you can't be sure you see in the picture. 2. A circuit board in a plastic box mounted to the floor, left rear, must be removed by two screws to be able to get pliers onto the head of the pin more easily. This helps installation too. 3. This was Kenmore front load washer made by LG. Model 796.41302610 First, AppliancePartsPros.com has been great. This is my fourth time using them. Speed Queen is out of stock in the washer door for this model and the appliance repair company said it was on back order indefinitely. I had saved the broken door so I ordered the inner plastic liner and the glass separately and used the saved outer door part and the screws and bracket and the mechanism that inserts into the machine itself to lock the door in place and sandwiched everything together and after a few attempts at the correct order of putting it all together, managed to get it... Washer would run through the cycle, but not agitate. I had to wait for it to pump down the water level to check spin, which also was not working. The motor would buzz when it should run, but not rotate, hard to hear for spin because the pump was running. Found I could start it by hand very easily by giving the pulley a spin, so I figured start switch, but there didn't appear to be one. Unplugged power cord, shut off hot and cold water valves, and disconnected hot and cold water lines. I taped the lid closed and laid washer down on its front panel to access motor parts underneath. Removed center screw (allen wrench) and then removed large, round, plastic rotor (had to use some force with fingers behind it to get it off). I could see that the gear teeth inside the rotor had been partially stripped off ruining the rotor (and causing the noise). I then removed the clutch... Read more

Removed the door at the hinge (3 screws). Removed the screws on the inside of the door holding the three sections together. Found one pin on the hinge broke OFF. Ordered parts. Arrived in 2 days. Re-assembled door and hung. Read more

Ordered a new outer door seal and watched their video before replacing. Easy to follow the video and it took me less than 30 min to complete repair. A small amount of diluted dishwashing liquid on the new seal lip makes the install much easier. Read more
