First I needed to replaced the timer. However that timer is no longer available. So I was not able to buy that part. A friend encouraged me to cross reference the part number. I did and I found another timer that claimed it would work on my machine. It looked very similar. I got the timer from you guys and put it in. I could not find specific online instructions for this job. Here are some tips. 1. Unplug the washer. 2. Unscrew the dial on the broken timer. 3. Gently pry up the thin plastic place-indicator plate (the thing with the arrow under the dial) with two flathead screwdrivers. 4. Unscrew the two hex screws holding the old timer in place. 5. • Burning smell

I decided to repair my Amana LWA50AW top loader washer because it has served us well, it is made by Speed Queen and an equal replacement is expensive. These are very dependable washers. The parts I ordered were: part #R9900552 (hub and seal kit) This kit does not include the Tub or Main bearing!!! Nor the drive belt!!! I replaced both the solenoid (part of the inlet valve kit) and the pressure sensor. Online research suggested my intermittent issue with the cold water fill being just a trickle and then causing an error was likely due to one or both of those two parts failing. Since they are in the same spot it was suggested (and I agree) that it is best to replace both at the same time. • Leaking

I replaced the following parts in the GE WASHER that I have owned for approximately 14 years: Part no.: WH08X10038 - rubber gasket Part no.: WH01X10277 - inside gasket clamp Part no.: WH01x10279 - outside gasket clamp The two gasket clamps were ordered on 1/18/24 and delivered the next afternoon to my front door. I removed the dial knob and plate as instructed by the video, removed the front panel of the washer to access the switch. I found the plastic molded bracket that the timer rests on to be broken and the tab on the timer where it is attached by a screw to be broken. I ordered a replacement switch, dial and knob. When it arrived I replaced the parts as instructed, but I had to use super glue to hold the new switch in place due to the support tab on the washer panel being broken off. After letting...
