I replaced the Timer knob components. Removing the cover that contains the Timer was simpler than I anticipated. Just remove the screws on the top of the back of the machine. Hold the cover and lift up and push to the left (facing the front of the washer). Removed the Timer Knob Clip with small needle-nose pliers. First I needed to replaced the timer. However that timer is no longer available. So I was not able to buy that part. A friend encouraged me to cross reference the part number. I did and I found another timer that claimed it would work on my machine. It looked very similar. I got the timer from you guys and put it in. The Cold Water Inlet Valve had a very good You Tube Video and I followed it. One note of caution, as I chuckled at the guy on the video saying watch for sharp edges, he was correct. When removing one of the lines from the valve, my pliers slipped and my elbow hit the front of the machine(inside edge) and cut my elbow. Replaced the motor with a new one, if I can offer any advice about doing this job, make sure to keep track of where each wire goes on the motor and whatever wires need to be disconnected. Checked the circuit board to see if R11 was burnt and it was. They told me if the wax motor had a brown tip that I would have to replace the Machine control circuit board as well as the Wax motor. I ordered the new parts put them in and it worked. Read more
