I replaced the upper nozzle guide, nozzle shaft and upper spray arm. I also replaced the pump gasket for good measure.
Top rack dishes had not been cleaning properly. I first removed the filter assembly to inspect the main pump from above. Purchase replacements. Removed old roller carrier from lower basket by pushing on retaining clips with butt of screw driver. Maybe necessary to use flat end to get it started coming off.

Removed the old planetary and cleaned metal shavings from gears. Transferred the old axle/gear assembly onto the new planetary. Inserted the new (and expensive) screw for the main gear and torqued it very tight (as well as the original other four screws). Slid the new planetary gears together and re-inserted the holding pin. Tapped on the cover ring and was done.

I removed the basket, studied the old adjusters before removing them, and installed the new ones using some of the old parts(adjustment levers and the covers). adjusters work like a charm.. the only tool required was a screwdriver with removable torque bit.
