This is a rack adjuster mechanism that mounts on the right side of the upper dish rack and allows you to raise or lower it to accommodate different dish sizes. It includes the adjuster housing and associated components that lock the rack into position. Replace this part if the upper rack no longer stays at the selected height, slides unevenly, or the adjuster mechanism is cracked or broken.

I removed the basket, studied the old adjusters before removing them, and installed the new ones using some of the old parts(adjustment levers and the covers). adjusters work like a charm.. the only tool required was a screwdriver with removable torque bit.

I took the tumbler drum out and looked at the pulley and it was not rotating freely. The idler arm had some wear on the attached post so I replaced bothe parts. Since I was in there already I replaced the drum rollers and dryer belt for good measure. I reassembled the dryer and it works great.
The best part of the experience was the parts order. I ordered the parts around 3:00 pm one day, standard shipping, and they were on my doorstep around 1:00 pm the next day. I'm still wondering...

Replaced front drum roller wheels and rear drum bearing.Pull plug.
Remove 2 screws holding top panel,slide rearward and lift panel off.
Remove all screws from back panel,wiring cover and cord clamp.
Remove back panel and feed cord through hole.No need to remove cord.
Remove 2 screws from heater box and let it drop rearward.Remove belt from
motor pulley and let tensioner rest against motor pulley.This step will trigger the
switch that disables motor if belt breaks.The switch does not reset...

Removed old rollers and axels and installed new ones. Used needle nosed pliers to remove old axles and rollers and put new ones on by hand, just snapped them onto the rack frame and pushed new wheels onto the new axles. Discovered that the end caps of the metal guide that the rollers move in just rotate out on a hinge principle in order to remove the rack in order to put the new rollers on.

Un plugged dryer. It was an easy fix, popped the top up. Removed the two screw that held the front on and also unclipped the door switch. Released tension that was on belt and removed drum. Removed old front slides cleaned up area and replaced them. Popped the ring that held the rear drum wheels and placed the new ones with a dab of grease. After disconnecting power, removed rear access panel. belt was already off. Removed bolt washers at center of pulley, removed pulley.installed new pulley on to drum shaft. Installed washers and bolt with blue thread locker applied to threads. Installed new belt. Reinstalled rear access panel. Reconnect to power. good to go!
