This foam insulation for the refrigerator manifold helps reduce heat transfer and condensation around the refrigerant/water manifold, improving temperature stability and preventing unwanted frost buildup in the cabinet area. What it does:
- Wraps and insulates the refrigerator manifold and nearby tubing to limit heat gain and condensation
- Helps maintain consistent cooling performance by reducing thermal interference with the manifold
- Reduces risk of localized frost or moisture buildup that can affect nearby components
- Be needed if existing insulation is torn, compressed, missing, or water-damaged
What's included: One insulation manifold (foam) as shown Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing to avoid electrical shock
- Remove shelves, panels, or drawers as needed for access; keep track of fasteners
- Replace damaged insulation carefully to ensure full coverage of the manifold and tubing; trim if necessary for a snug fit
- If adhesive backing is present, press firmly to secure; do not block airflow or pinch tubing

Water dispenser stopped working. Christine G. • Omaha , NE • October 29, 2018

Just a note: always shut off the main water source. I learned the hard way. Other than that "little mishap", the installation was easy and didn't take long.
