The problem was partly caused because the original legs were at full extension. The replacement legs were longer than the originals and were more secure at the needed length. I determined that it was a problem that occurred during the defrost cycle by resetting the GFCI outlet and forwarding the defrost timer until the defroster came on. Received the part, and easily removed the two metal covers on the front of the trash compactor (total of eight small metal screws) to gain access to the backside of the roller assembly (locking nut). Used a socket wrench to unscrew the nut and removed the old assembly. The new assembly easily bolted into location, followed by reinstalling the metal covers. All in all, a quick and easy repair. Kenmore Elite refrigerator 795.77542600 Fixed by replacing crisper cover. The purchased crisper cover lacks the printed pictures and text that was present on the front of the original, but it was no big deal. The difficult part of the repair was transferring the (1) plastic humidity adjusters for vegetable/fruit drawer, (2) plastic crisper drawer covers, and (3) metal bar on front underside of crisper cover.
