I ORDERED A NEW CONTROLLER BOARD. THE DIRECTIONS SHOWED HOW TO UNCLIP THE OLD BOARD BUT THE FASTENERS WERE ON THE LEFT SIDE NOT THE BOTTOM AS INDICATED ON THE REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS. AFTER REASSEMBLY THE DISHWASHER FUNCTIONED AS NEW. THNKS FOR THE INSIGHT. Read more

Replaced control board. This project took about 45 minutes to complete. It helps if you have two people because at one point you need to squeeze 4 plastic clips. Also helps when switching wire from one board to the other. I am 71 years old and this was a very easy task. Read more

Replaced control board with OEM part from ApplianceParts Pro - fit exactly and remedied the problems. Simple to replace - turn off power (circuit breaker), remove internal door panel, remove control board cover and unplug wires/LED leads (the LED lead connectors on the board have a square tension slip ring around them that hold the leads - just pull these up away from board and they will release the leads) and then remove the controller board housing. After googling the symptoms I determined that the control board was the problem. The original control board had been discontinued, but there was a current equivalent board. AppliancePartsPros.com had the best price online so I placed the order. It was shipped the next business day and was delivered the day after! The part included the plastic case for the board so all I needed to do was unplug and unscrew the old part and plug and new one in. The dishwasher is now running good as new. ... Read more

I ordered a control tactile asm kit which gave me the new board for the controls. All I had to do was use a screwdriver to take out the old board and connect in the new board. I'd never done anything much like this before but it truly only took me a few minutes! Read more

A bit of searching on the internet narrowed the problem down to either the heating element or the control board. As I am not much of a diagnostician I decided to replace both. I was told by the person who took my order that I could find an instruction video on you tube . So I went there and follow those instructions. The repair went well although I did have a slight problem with the door latch and the soap dispenser lever. They both fell out as I was trying to install the timer, but I went back to the video and although it didn't show how to replace these two parts I was able to see how they were placed and was able to figure it out from there. I had ordered several parts from Appliance Pros and installed parts that did not solve the problem. Return the parts and was going to give up. Called Appliance Pros Tech and she suggested that I try installing a User Interface Board. She sent me the new board and problem solved. Dishwasher working like new. Read more
