After years of replacing the female electric latch switch that controlled the operation of the machine, I discovered that the window/door's handle's connection to its male latching hook had failed. I replaced the hinges and hinge mounts. Upon inspection of the mounts, it seems that they had become slightly deformed on the lower portion, where the heel of the hinge applies pressure to the frame. Probably didn't need new springs, just the mounts, but I just kept em in anyway. Easy fix, anybody can do it, good instructions in the kit. Very pleased with appliancepartspro speed of delivery. This oven was a Kenmore model #66595822003. I replaced both spring hinges. This oven was a white oven so it took the MFG# WP8053807 hinge (order two of them). They are the same hinge. No left or right. To get the door off the oven, open the door all the way open, I installed pins (preferably only 1/4" long) in the holes of both hinges.
