A broken cam can be bad news. The door can swing open from its own weight. I ordered a door closure kit (cams) plus shims. My fridge needs a stack of shims on the fridge door to align it vertically. The problem was corrosion in the connector coming from the freezer door; the wire easily separated from the connector once I examined it.
