New parts from Appliance Parts Pro were spot on, what a relief not to get into and have wrong parts. Really happy with speed of delivery and ordering process. Removed front cover, was able to access all 4 shocks from the front - time saver. Washer bellow and spring were a little bit of a finger buster, but after removing both bottom and top counter weights was super helpful. Using a 13MM socket to pinch the end of the shock absorber mounting pins was a great tip found here. Read more

Removed the rear panel, top lid and found burnt belt and what appeared to be worn out plastic dampers/shocks on bottom of drum. I had called several repairmen and they were all 7-10 days behind. The middle sprayer sheared off our GE Power 3 dishwasher, ruining the hub in the process. We removed the rack from the dishwasher to make it easier to access the sprayer hub, otherwise it's awkward. The biggest challenge was finding the right tool in our garage (we used a 1/4" wrench as we did not have the right socket size).
