Thanks to appliancepartspros.com the dishwasher was able to be repaired quickly and under budget. I removed the motor pump assembly and replaced it. I was also able to change out the faulty flood switch and replace the seals to stop the leak. The appliance is once again good as new and ready to run a new load of dishes. Read more

I replaced the water inlet valve. Apparently, the hard water in my house slowly deposits crud around the valves such at over time, the valve seals quit forming a tight seal when closing. This allows water to slowly leak through, even with the machine off. I removed the top of the washer, disconnected hoses and wires and replaced the valve in fairly short order. This was a simple fix. The igniters and valve I received, were a simple unplugging of the old igniters and plug in the new ones, (two wires). The valve removal and installing the new valve was just a matter of removing the faulty valve by unscrewing a nut which was attached to a gas line, Then installing the new valve by placing the valve in its place and tightening the nut.
