Weird deal. Gas pressure had dropped due to low propane. This allowed the pressure at the regulator to drop below the set pressure, opening the regulator. A slight seepage past the valves must have allowed the smell. Propane tank was refilled and the gas smell disappeared. Thanks to appliancepartspros.com the dishwasher was able to be repaired quickly and under budget. I removed the motor pump assembly and replaced it. I was also able to change out the faulty flood switch and replace the seals to stop the leak. The appliance is once again good as new and ready to run a new load of dishes. Read more

I replaced the water inlet valve. Apparently, the hard water in my house slowly deposits crud around the valves such at over time, the valve seals quit forming a tight seal when closing. This allows water to slowly leak through, even with the machine off. I removed the top of the washer, disconnected hoses and wires and replaced the valve in fairly short order. This fixed the problem. Read more
