Removed 10 Star Screws to get the door cover off and the fascia panel snapped off. Inserted the 6 buttons and the door handle into the facia panel prior to snapping it in place. Screwed the door cover back in place and the job was done. The facia has two tabs that need to be inserted into the door. Be careful not to crack them as they seem fragile. The first facia panel I ordered arrived with with one of those tabs cracked off. Read more

Searched out and found AppliancePartsPros.com had one of best prices, and relative quick delivery. Received part in just a couple days. Unpackaged part and located correct torx screw driver. Removed 6 screws holding lower front panel. Next removed all screws holding broken mounting tabs that were from original facia panel. Removed and transfered all plastic buttons, and crome handle trim from original facia panel to new one. Attached new facia panel to diswasher door frame, and finally... Read more

I ordered the new oven bottom from Appliance Parts Pros and within three days I had a brand new oven bottom. Took the old one out, the new one fit superbly. The next time I will definitely put foil or an oven liner on the bottom rack to catch the drips from the pies as the Aqua-lift cleaning system on the Whirlpool oven did not do the job. Read more

You need to remove the entire compactor basket, so that can be a little unwieldy. There are 8 total Phillips head screws. Two on each side of the wrap-around portion of the panel, two on the bottom of the panel, and two larger screws that are used to hold the foot pedal in place. The two lower screws on the bottom of the panel also screw through the rubber stop strip on the bottom of the basket. I carefully removed the insulation and metallic trim from the original part using a small knife. I wraped the insulation with Glad Press'n Seal plastic wrap and attached it to the inside of the new part with double sided tape. I attached the metallic trim to the new part with super glue and then attached the Access Panel to the lower front of the dish washer. It took about 30 minutes to do the job but it was not difficult. I replaced the Oven Igniter. After ensuring that it was the igniter, by turning on the stove and taking out the oven bottom. Watch if it turns red. If not, then either the wiring is faulty, or the igniter went bad. The bulb was due to a loose and broken light bulb, can't use any normal bulb, these ones are specially made to withstand the heat. I ordered both the front long panel and the lower access panel in the new color. I watched the instructional videos which were very helpful. I was very careful to remember where all the screws belonged as I took it apart. The panel required an extra small attachment to fit due to a change in design.
