Removed torx screws attaching stainless liner to outer stainless door. Lift off inner door and carefully separate the electronic components from where they snap into the control panel. Relocate electronic components to the new control panel. Reattach the inner liner with the torx screws. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands to hold the control panel while making the electronics swap to avoid pulling on the wiring harness. The glue behind the keypad loosened and the keypad slowly began slipping down out of place over several months. Finally, because of the movement, it warped which resulted in one of the keys being stuck. That is what gave the F12 error code. The fix was easy. My wife put the faceplate on the oven control while I accessed the display by pulling the oven out, unplugged it, and removed the rear cover. Only three nut head screws held the upper back panel. 4 nut screws hold the display onto the oven, they were easily removed. My wife took a couple photos of the rear wiring to ensure we plugged the new oven control in properly (there are a fair number of wires but they are color coded in most cases). After unplugging the dryer, I removed knobs and control panel. I removed the 3 connectors to start switch. I had to cut and replace one connector due to shorted wire which burnt the connector. I attached new connector and then attached these to start switch. I then remounted all three switches to new control panel and reattached control panel to dryer. Plugged in and started right up! Disconnect the power to the fridge. First remove the control panel by removing the one screw underneath and then insert a screwdriver into the small square hole underneath in order to pull the lower left of the control panel towards you. You are pulling against a plastic clip and you need to pull fairly hard. Once the lower left clip is free the other three come unclipped fairly easily. 1. Purchased a new Facade. The removal of the old one was relatively easy except that the two screws that hold it in place (behind the spill tray) were rusted (they should have used stainless steel ones) one came out with a vise grip but on the other I had to buy an "Easy Out" tool from Home Depot, once out the unit drops down.
