The control panel on your dishwasher's door houses the cycle selection buttons and indicator lights. Replace if cracked, worn, faded, or missing.
Removed torx screws attaching stainless liner to outer stainless door. Lift off inner door and carefully separate the electronic components from where they snap into the control panel. Relocate electronic components to the new control panel. Reattach the inner liner with the torx screws. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands to hold the control panel while making the electronics swap to avoid pulling on the wiring harness. For door balance kit I just followed the video, straight forward. Read more

Decorative overlay that covers your range control panel. Replace if cracked, peeling, worn, or warped from regular use. Protects controls and provides clear labels.
The glue behind the keypad loosened and the keypad slowly began slipping down out of place over several months. Finally, because of the movement, it warped which resulted in one of the keys being stuck. That is what gave the F12 error code. The fix was easy. I removed the control panel and then peeled off the keypad. The keypad itself then has two layers (1), the flexible circuit panel, and (2) the outward facing display. I separated the display from the circuit panel and put the new one... Read more

Replaced Oven control Board, I actually had a "professional" appliance repair man come to the house and tell me what was wrong with the oven. While he was standing in my kitchen, I noticed he pulled up the AppliancePartsPros.com website to quote me the pricing for the parts. I did not see it necessary to pay him the marked up price. He left the house without repairing the oven I proceeded to order the parts that same evening, replaced the bad parts the same day I received them. I noticed while... Read more

My wife put the faceplate on the oven control while I accessed the display by pulling the oven out, unplugged it, and removed the rear cover. Only three nut head screws held the upper back panel. 4 nut screws hold the display onto the oven, they were easily removed. My wife took a couple photos of the rear wiring to ensure we plugged the new oven control in properly (there are a fair number of wires but they are color coded in most cases). Turns out we didn't need the photo. As we pulled a... Read more

After unplugging the dryer, I removed knobs and control panel. I removed the 3 connectors to start switch. I had to cut and replace one connector due to shorted wire which burnt the connector. I attached new connector and then attached these to start switch. I then remounted all three switches to new control panel and reattached control panel to dryer. Plugged in and started right up! Thank you for the helpful video. Read more

Ice dispenser paddle broken or won't close? This ice chute door and funnel assembly fixes stuck or damaged dispensers. Moderate DIY, 30-45 minutes.
Disconnect the power to the fridge. First remove the control panel by removing the one screw underneath and then insert a screwdriver into the small square hole underneath in order to pull the lower left of the control panel towards you. You are pulling against a plastic clip and you need to pull fairly hard. Once the lower left clip is free the other three come unclipped fairly easily. At this point it will make life easier if you unclip the wiring connector from the control panel and put it... Read more

1. Purchased a new Facade. The removal of the old one was relatively easy except that the two screws that hold it in place (behind the spill tray) were rusted (they should have used stainless steel ones) one came out with a vise grip but on the other I had to buy an "Easy Out" tool from Home Depot, once out the unit drops down. Had my wife hold the new unit, swiped the wires from old to new, removed the control board from the old one and installed it on the new one with one screw and cleaned... Read more
