Found the belt was thrown off. Reinstalled the belt and when doing so felt that the pulley was wobbling on the barrel shaft. I replaced the broken drive belt first and noticed the drive pulley loose. The nut that had held it in place had backed off. This resulted in significant wear on the pulley hub. I replaced the idler pulley, belt and motor! Motor was the main culprit. The motor has faulty centrifugal switches Integrated into the motor. When tumbler begins to turn, the switch kills The motor. The only way to fix it is replace the prefectly good motor, with a New switch inside. Read more
