It was fairly obvious that the washer drainer motor had failed, water was not draining, filter was clean (bottom lower left panel door, have a pail ready!) and drain line was not blocked. I disassembled/reassembled the dryer according to the ApplianceParts Youtube video. I replaced the warped cover guide and the lint filter. Now it works perfect! Sears was going to charge $100 just to diagnose the well known problem, not including parts and labor. It only requires 4 screws(i used the old ones). Easy fix. Read more

Repair went fairly smoothly by following the EXCELLENT how-to video provided. I had only a few issues and suggestions. 1. Because many of the screws and fasteners are of multiple sizes, I would recommend laying them out in a muffin tray or on a paper with labels for where they go back. 2. After removing the weights and prepping to remove the shock absorbers, after the front ones were removed, the tub tilted so far the rear shock absorber separated. The friction pads fell out. I replaced the solenoid valve and trimmed a small amount of the tubing that serves the ice maker and water dispenser. The only problem was there is almost NO slack in that tubing. If you trim more than a half inch off, you won't have enough tubing to connect it on both ends. Read more

Videos were extremely helpful and well done; we couldn't have done without them although we came across slight differences in our machine and found workarounds. Our machine did not drain the water so I drained the water manually via drain tube at bottom of the machine and checked the filter for blockage. Removed the old line and replaced with the new. This is the sixth time I've replaced the line. Yes you read that right, the sixth time. Lines fail about every 6-8 months so I can change one out now in about 10-15 minutes. Bought the refrigerator in Feb '09 and the line first failed in March 2012. The original issue with the dryer is that a corner of the lint screen was sticking out of the lint screen guide, and it would not stay flush with the guide. As a result, many tank top straps, waistband strings, and blankets would get caught on this corner and twist, tear, or warp my clothes. We had a problem of lint building up inside of the filter slot. Once I took a long brush and cleaned the recess where the filter slides I was able to see that the old filter was not catching all the lint. Upon closer examination I noticed that the seal around the filter had become compressed. that's when I order another filter from AppliancePartsPros.com. My new filter came within three days and my dryer has been working fine ever since then. Read more

I have order three parts, guide filter, cover guide, and sensor assembly. My previous cover guide was from two parts, when sensor assembly was one of them. New part ( guide cover ) was all in one piece so I just transfer old metal part of sensor to new cover guide and I don't need that sensor assembly anymore. I have ordered all three parts overnight by Fedex, ordered 15 min before 5pm, so next day it was here. Dryer is fixed, I'm happy. Read more

Was going to order 4 new wheel & spindle sets, then saw you could get just the wheel for 1/3 the cost, so I ordered those. Then in the frequently ordered other items I saw the idler wheel assy. So I ordered one of those also. Glad I did, it was in worse shape than any of the wheels which still seemed to spin freely after I got all the hairs and crap off them. Conducted research on web, and via direct contact with AppliancePros where a diagnosis of replacing the water inlet valve and cleaning the sensor tube would "most probably" (80%) handle the issue. The remaining uncertainty would reside in the electronic board circuitry.
