Description

This thermocouple is a flame-sensing safety sensor used on gas appliances to detect the pilot or burner flame and allow the gas valve to stay open. It replaces a worn or broken thermocouple to restore safe flame sensing. What it does:

• Senses burner/pilot flame and signals the gas valve to remain open when heated
• Commonly used when a pilot or burner won't stay lit or the appliance shuts off shortly after lighting
• Helps prevent gas flow if the flame is absent or unstable

Install notes:
