Jeff for Model Number WFMC6400UC/101 FD 8406 900073 Follow up question - what exactly does this mean In product description, “On some models, the flushing tube no longer connects to the boot seal and will connect to the open port at dispenser?” I am replacing the original boot seal and it has a port and a nipple as part of the gasket. The replacement gasket apparently does not. If this is correct, I don’t understand where to re-direct the flushing tube.
Answer Hello Jeff, the water line that would normally connect to the now-closed port on the door boot is to be connected instead on the open (unused) port on the side of the dispenser assembly.
