Randy for Model Number SHU3322UC/UC12 I suspected a water valve inlet issue, but after running the self-test diag program, I now see the the "Heating & Circulating" phase of the test seems to run continuously. I have also noted that the dishwasher seems to run for a long time (>2 hours). In addition, we have been getting soap residue left of the dishes, especially plasticware, at the end of the cycle. I am now suspecting that the water is not reaching the requisite 150F. Does this seem like a reasonable conclusion, or is there something else I can do to narrow the problem? What is the appropriate part for the heating component on this Bosch model, and what are the change-out procedures?
Answer Randy, The conclusion that you came too is a good one. You will want to pull the control board and look for burn marks on the control. Also check the heater to make sure that it is good and if both check ok then check the wiring from the heater to the control board, specifically where the wiring goes into the door. Read More...
