Steve for Model Number Bosch SHS5AVL2UC dishwasher after installing- plastic toe panel at bottom leaves a big gap on right side, red light shines out the side as well as through hole to floor- doesn't seem to fit properly, There seems to be a hole for screw higher up but cannot reach that height with plastic part and if I look at the offset holes, metal toe plate then goes over it and fastens that way so it looks like those are the holes to use but again- leaves a big side gap where red light and noise escapes.
Answer Hello Steve, The red light is an indicator and is supposed to shine through. If the gap at the side is uneven you should verify the squareness of the cabinet and insure the unit is properly leveled.
