Deeb We just had a certified installer put our new bosch dishwasher in yesterday and then used it for the first time last night. When my wife opened the door this morning the kick plate screw had fallen out and the kick plate had come loose preventing us to close the door on the dishwasher. Both of the screws were loose and will not stay in. Without damaging the (plastic?) where the screws attach to the body of the dishwasher how can I make them stay in? Is it ok to put a small amount of glue into the hole and then place the screws in and let it dry? Or is there a better way?
Answer Deeb, it's more likely that the installer used the incorrect screws to mount the kickplate(it happens often). It may be best to insert the model number into the AppliancePartsPros.com home page and order the correct mounting screws, before gluing or drilling, etc. We would've done it for you, but you forgot to include the model number of your dishwasher.
