Ellen for Model Number Dishwasher Spray head My Bosch Dishwater series 800 was just install and this part was left on the 2nd rack with the instruction. Does this part need to be installed and is it recommended for daily use?
Answer Ellen, No the [AP2802420} Spray head is an "option" used for washing tall items in the lower rack(you would need to remove the upper dishwasher rack). It is not intended to be a "permanent" installation, or for daily use. The use and care manual will have the installation and usage instructions once you get the dishwasher up and running.
