Rex S. for Model Number SHU5315UC/U12 My dishwasher gives a 2H reading on the LED. Never seems to finish its cycle. I read notes from the QA on the contol module that this is due to a heating issue. I turned my water heater up very high roughly about the same time as I started having this issue. The dishwasher is getting its watersource from the hot water supply (not sure if that is the way it was supposed to be done). Is it possible that turning the water heater down would fix my issue. I know this is probably a stupid question, but the dishwasher appears to work fine in delicate mode, which I think runs at a lower heat. Or, does this appear to be a NTC switch issue. Thank you for all the help
Answer Hello Rex. You will need to test the NTC switch 00165281. It should read closed for continuity. If it is open, you will need to replace the switch. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
