Ian Hi there, Still having questions on my power issue on Bosch model shx55R55UC/64. I have replaced the on/off switch and control board, but still no power. I can verify power is getting to the washer and the wiring looks fine... I have heard that replacing the thermistor can be an issue as well. Is this a logical next step? Or do I just need to troubleshoot all of this wiring...
Answer Ian, the dishwasher should turn on if there is 120VAC getting sent to the control. You will need to use a multimeter to verify the voltage. If the tool being used to test for voltage is the "sniffer" pen, it will indicate if there is a voltage reading but will not indicate as to what the actual voltage measurement is. As you have replaced the control and the on/off switch, the last thing that would prevent the control from operating is a voltage issue. Read More...
