Fred for Model Number GLHS67EEPQO I am trying to find the correct replacement part for water actuator. When I looked it up I was given part # AP3965220 but when I cross checked the part at bottom of page it said it was not correct replacement. I am confused. I also don't know how difficult it is to replace the part. Do I need to take front to door off or does the front of the ice and water dispenser just come off.
Answer Fred, The actuator is part number 241685702 and it may be that you put an o at the end of the model number instead of a 0. This would cause it to not show compatible. As for accessing the part you would pop the front cover off the dispenser. Under the drip tray there are 3 screws that you remove then lift off the cover. Then there will be 4 screws holding the dispenser assembly in place that you will remove and have access to the lever to remove. Read More...
