Answer Hello Colin, The replacement part is a longer lasting design. The red white will connect to the small white device, (overload). The white wire, (or light blue depending on the model), will connect to terminal 2 along with one capacitor wire, (if applicable). If there is a capacitor, the other side will connect to terminal 3.
