Paul for Model Number FGUI1849LF1 Unit has stopped cooling. I have cleaned the coils. The fan is blowing on the coils. I can turn the temp control knob and see the light dim and hear the fan but not the compressor run. Could it be the compressor or the start relay for it. Can I remove the relay and check it?. thanks for any help. I will order all my part from your company as I have before. Great place to do business with.
Answer Paul, You can pull the wires off the start relay and check to see if there is 120 vac getting to the relay. If there is then the relay is most likely going to be the cause of failure.
