Larry for Model Number Frigidaire lfht1513lb5 The fridge keeps tripping the GFI outlet. I tested on a non GFI and I get a light upon opening, but neither the compressor or fan kicks on. Thanks for your help.
Answer Larry, It sounds like the unit may be in a defrost mode and is tripping the GFCI when the heater kicks on. You will want to check to make sure that the heater on the bottom of the evaporator coil is not damaged. Also if you turn then dial that is in the little hole at the bottom of the control housing in the refrigerator section til there is a loud click this should bring in out of defrost. Also you want to use the unit on a circuit that is not a GFCI. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, July 7, 2017
