Jim J for Model Number Frigidiare Refrigerator #FRT21S6AQ0 I do not hear the compressor run. I bought a new run capacitor and that did not seem to fix it. When I removed the old run capacitor I noticed the old run capacitor was installed upside down is it possible some one tried to work on it and installed it upside down and if it was installed backwards would that burn out the compressor or do any damage to the compressor? I think my renters tried to fix it and installed run capacitor upside down. Any way to check to see if it is good? If the capacitor is not bad is it the relay or what other part would start the compressor? How can one test the compressor if a new relay does not start it what other part might work to start the compressor? The frig is 11 years old and in good shape?
