Rob for Model Number 417.81122310 My Kenmore dryer will not turn off and there is no heat. I verified there is 240V coming in. Checked exhaust thermal limiters, high limit thermostat and thermostat with ohmmeter and all appear to be good.
Answer Rob, You can check the heater relay on your control. It's RL2 and the black wire to ground should have 120 to ground for the heater. The motor relay also is on the control which could be stuck closed. test from j4-2 to j4-1 for a closed circuit with no power to the unit.
