Answer Hello Willy, The breaker is tripped by excessive current flow. This could be a bad breaker, a worn receptacle, or a loose connection at the terminal block. It really shouldn't be too hard to locate as an excessive current flow will normally cause a discoloration of the insulation on the wire. The first place I would look is the terminal block. Unplug the unit and try to turn the wires by hand. If they will turn, this is a point of high resistance and could be the root of the issue. Read More...
