Turbobob for Model Number 790.94452 701 On the oven handle, the left side screw inside the oven works loose about once a month, causing the handle to wiggle on the left side. The right side is fine and has never worked loose. I have tried using teflon tape, high temperature glue, etc. on the threads of the screw when the oven is cool, then tighten securely and it remains tight then works loose after a month or so. The screw threads on the handle mold do not have any cracks or splits on it that I can see, so I'm wondering if any one else has reported a similar problem? My thoughts are to either us a slightly longer screw (about 1/4") or to use the carpenter's trick of putting a toothpick inside the molded hole to increase the gripping tension on the screw. If I use a lock washer, then I have to get a slightly longer screw. Any thoughts on this subject from anyone?
Answer Turbobob, You should try to use some Loctite on the screw and if the screw still does not hold you should replace the handle as the hole may have widened. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, April 12, 2013
