Richard for Model Number Frigidaire FGHC2345LF2 Hello Refrigerator is not supplying water at the dispenser. Both the ice cube and crushed ice functions work fine. I verified adequate water pressure to the valve. I just replaced the water control valve. I tested the control valve for the water dispenser by disconnecting the water dispenser line from the water valve, and had plenty of water pressure from the valve when pushing the water dispenser flap. I disconnected the water supply at the bottom of the freezer door to verify the water line was clear from the valve to the coupling at the bottom of the freezer door. it appears there is a hidden or closed valve in the supply line from the bottom of the freezer door to the water outlet on the door. I disassembled the door access trim and dispenser control board. i used a very small long wire brush to see if there was any blockage in the line. 1) is there an actual secondary water valve inside the freezer door that is not releasing, due to a problem with the dispenser assembly ? Assume the dispenser assembly would be the next device to replace ? Thank You Richard
Answer Richard, There will not be a valve in the door and it sounds likely that the fill tube has frozen inside the door and you can pull this line out and thaw it and then reinsert it back into the door. You would need to remove the door to do this. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, February 8, 2024
