Ed for Model Number FWT449GFS2 I really appreciate this answer forum. Very helpful. My Washer's drum has been working intermittently. I will start the washer and it will rotate each direction normally but then it won't rotate during the spin cycle. I will try it again and it will not rotate at all. I will try the machine again the next day and the drum will turn correctly for a full cycle. I will try it again immediately and it will only turn during the beginning of the cycle and then try it again and it won't turn at all. I will wait a day and the drum will turn. Maybe a full cycle or maybe just the beginning. Any suggestions on the issue or how to trouble the problem? Thank you
Answer Hello Ed, This can be caused by a poor electrical connection or a failing motor speed control 131725300. I would disconnect the harness connectors one at a time, several times each so if any corrosion is present on the connectors, it will be worn off. Do this on each end of the harness between the speed control and the main control board. If this does not correct the issue, the most likely cause of the issue will be the speed control board.
