Sean for Model Number atf6700fs1 I have a fridigair front load washer won't spin. Erroe code of er56 was told to replace motor control board and motor. Motor does turn freely by hand. When cycle is started only hear clicking.
Answer Hello Sean. Look for bad wiring. If none is found, then you will ohm out the motor and see if it is good. It should ohm out between 6.1 to 6.5 ohms each way. If good, replace the motor board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
