Paul for Model Number GLGF388DBE When we turn the oven on there is no flame and we do not smell gas. But all of our Propane 5 stove top LP conversion jets/orifices work / with bright blue flame. Does the over have a pilot light? Do I need to turn on the oven to light it? It is a Frigidaire gas range model GLGF388DBE
Answer Hello Paul. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
