Ken for Model Number 790.75864302 My Kenmore gas range is making a high pitch wining sound when the oven goes on. The sound will stop when gas flow shuts off, then comes back when the gas flows again on the cooking cycle.My guess is that it sounds like the gas pressure regulator maybe the culprit. Can you verify if that maybe the cause? Thank you
Answer Hello Ken, check the bake burner orifice is not restricted (can cause whistling) also can occur when the incoming gas pressure to the stove is on the high end, you can try a new pressure regulator 5304521339 and see if it stops , if not you need to contact the gas supplier next.
