Marco C. for Model Number FGF334BGWA When I turn on my oven, the igniter lights up but the oven does not heat up. All of the burners fire and the stove worked 2 nights ago with no problems. Do u think I need a new regulator or a new oven igniter? The igniter seems to be working but doesnt get fire. Thanks.
Answer Hello Marco. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
