Stan for Model Number GS563LXSB1 whirlpool Lp gas Oven and broiler will not light. Gas stove top burners work so I know I am getting gas. Whirlpool stove is only 2 or 3 years old and seldom used as it is at our second home. I use the safety lock out function and wonder if that is stuck. I tried unplugging and resetting the lock out function. Stove top lock out still works. Then it did make a Whoosh on firing up when it was working before it finally quit. Thanks
Answer Hello Stan, Most of the time when a "whoosh" is heard when lighting, the gas valve WPW10293048 is sticking and in need of replacement. The other cause I have seen is oxidation in the burner WP8054078. This is commonly explained away by the engineers as a "spider web" in the burner.
