Answer Tony, In most cases the cause for the icemaker not to work would be that moisture got into the icemaker motor and seized it up. One thing that you can try is to take the cover off the icemaker and the small gear that is on the icemaker head has a slot in it. Turn this gear counter clockwise and it should go into a cycle. Allow the icemaker to run and see if the icemaker goes through a full rotation and fills with water. If not then the icemaker would be the issue. Read More...
