Randy for Model Number GLHS66EEB5 Over the years, I have bought a water valve and ice bin from AppliancePartsPros and have been very satisfied with the products and support. It seems I will be needing that support once again. The ice maker has stopped making cycle. It no longer cycles where it will open the tube or valve to get water. I'm still able to get water from the dispenser, although the water is not cold at all. The fill tube is not frozen. Do I need a new ice maker? Or could there be another problem with the fridge? Thanks.
Answer Randy, If the icemaker does not go through the cycle at all then this will be a faulty icemaker. If the icemaker is cycling then you will want to check to make sure that the water valve is getting 120 vac to it when calling for water.
