Val for Model Number wbb4500goww The knob to my washer is spinning as if stripped. When I removed it the metal d shaped piece that holds the knob was not there. Could it have fallen into the panel and is the panel removable?
Answer Hello Val, The "D" shaft insert would not likely find its' way into the control panel because of its' size and the fact that it has to come completely off of the end of the shaft from the end and would then have to fall toward the rear of the unit to enter the small opening.
